We had an amazing season! This team was not expected to perform at a very high level, but Coach Mike made contenders out of this kids. The coaches, kids and parents all worked hard and had the right attitude to achieve a superb balance of competitiveness and love of the game. Can’t wait for next season!

What started as just a collection of boys, most of whom had not played tournament ball before, became a real team by the end – and quite a successful one. Coach Mike demanded a lot of the kids and through setting examples and being a patient demonstrator of technique, they delivered. This team and Southpaw Baseball more generally will surely continue to thrive.

What a blast! This inaugural Southpaw Blues team performed beyond our wildest expectations. Coach Mike took a rag-tag group of boys who love to play ball and turned them into ball players. Each and every member of the team improved and their passion for play deepened this season thanks to Mike’s and Ben’s (assistant coach) efforts. It’s been super fun to watch each player gain confidence and ability. Southpaw has been a welcome alternative to other competitive league offerings in Boulder. Go Blues!!
