Coaches

Mike Mullen
Mike has coached youth baseball for over 10 years including 7 years with High School ball in Washington State and Colorado (Fairview and Monarch-varsity) and 3 years with Little League baseball including two All Star State runner up finishes.  He has been on the board for SBLL and continues to work on the local baseball fields as well as giving lessons and clinics.
Mike was All State in high school and played for Edmonds CC and Eastern Oregon U where he earned all conference and regional tournament honors.  Mike has also played semi-pro ball in Colorado and California where he had the “honor” to play with Jose Canseco and other post-MLB players.
Ben Katz-Moses
After graduating from high school Ben played 2B for Claremont McKenna College (Graduated in 2006). After college he was chosen to play professionally in the Israel Baseball League (2007). Ben was drafted ahead of Sandy Kofax (honorary draft) and ended up being the league leader in HBP (literally).
After Ben’s playing career he became the Junior Varsity assistant coach for Niwot High School (2007) and then the Assistant Varsity Coach for Monarch High School (2010-2011).  He has a deep passion for the game and looks forward to improving the level of play in this community.
Gabe Henriques
Gabe Henriques played his high school baseball at Whitney Young High School in Chicago and won two city titles in 2007 and 2008.  After graduating in 2009, he went on to be a four year starter at shortstop for Lawrence University in Wisconsin, hitting a career .309 avg/.384 OBP.  Gabe has played in numerous CABA and NABF summer world series tournaments.  He has worked with youth in baseball camps at Lawrence and is excited to continue his coaching career.

    Mike and Ben are fantastic coaches. Great knowledge and more importantly, they not only have a love of the game, but they respect it. And the kids respond. My son has blossomed under their tutelage.

    Can’t wait for next year!
